    DW trip in October and going to MNSSHP on the 31st. Never been so we are excited!!! Plan to eat early dinner in MK is it o.k. if we have our costumes on while we eat before the party starts? Thanks you all are great!

    Hi Casey! Congrats on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World! I love visiting WDW in the fall. The weather is beautiful, the crowds are light and you get to experience Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP,) which is the best special event at WDW (in my opinion.) You can absolutely wear your costumes to dinner before MNSSHP. You didn't mention where your reservations are, but I'm assuming they are within Magic Kingdom. All of the Table Service restaraunts in Magic Kingdom are fairly casual and don't have a dress code. Unless you are eating at a Signature Dining Restaurant (California Grill, Narcoossee's, Yachhtsmen Steakhouse and others) you don't need to worry about a strict dress code. I do want to point out though, that Walt Disney World typically doesn't allow adults to wear costumes to any of the parks or restaurants. They allow for an exception to this during the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Keep this in mind if you are visiting during another time of year. I hope you have a magical vacation!
