We are going to DW on the 22nd through the 27th . Do you think that we should bring jeans or pants? Thank you so much. This our 1st time!

    Hi Lorie,

You did not mention what month you were traveling so I am not sure if this is a trip coming soon or in one of the future months. I can tell you that the average temperatures for the next few months are:

    • August                    highs 92    lows 73
    • September            highs 90    lows 72
    • October                  highs 85    lows 65
    • November             highs 79    lows 58
    • December             highs  73    lows 51

During August, September and most of October even the evening temperatures are generally very warm and pleasant and we have rarely needed jeans. However as late October approaches and into the rest of the year, the evenings and early mornings can be damp and chilly and we have often wore jeans for our evenings at the park. During the summer and early fall months we often carry a light sweater or sweatshirt with us as we sometimes find the air conditioned buildings a little cold to us. Most of the time I do pack a pair or two of jeans, or light pants just in case. I know here in the midwest the temperatures do sometimes fluctuate from the average or normal temperatures and I like to be prepared "just in case". We have visited a few times when it was ninety in December and sixty in September.

Hope you have a wonderful time and don't forget to ask for your first time visitor button!
