    We were at DW for Thanksgiving & are already thinking of when to go back. Has anyone been for the star Wars weekend in May? I think my boys 9,7 & 6 might love that!

    Hi there Alexis! Star Wars Weekends is one of my family's favorite Special Events at Walt DIsney World! We have attended numerous Star Wars Weekends and have always thoroughly enjoyed them. As of mom of four children which includes one daughter and three sons ranging in age from seven to fourteen, I can tell you from firsthand experience that this special event held at Disney's Hollywood Studios is "not to be missed" if you have Star Wars fans in your family. I will also caution you that Star Wars Weekends are very popular and can get quite crowded especially in areas of the park where the special events are located.

    My family always arrives at park opening and heads straight to sign the boys up for Star Wars: Jedi Training Academy, where young Padawans learn to use the Force to become Jedi Knights! Your boys will also love being able to meet Darth Vader, Storm Troopers, and other special Star Wars Characters that are only available during Star Wars Weekends. Our "must see" experiences include the Star Wars Celebrity Motorcade, Star Wars Character Encounters, shopping at Darth's Mall for special Star Wars Weekends themed merchandise, Star Tours - The Adventures Continue, and Hyperspace Hoopla, a closing event that is fun for the entire family!
