Going to DW this Sep for a week.Would it be better to wait for a special offer pkg with free/discounted dining,or is it better to do an annual pass and then use again nxt yr?I heard u get discounts on hotels and Tables in Wonderland Card?Which is better

    Hi Cary,

This is the $64,000 question we get all the time. It really is a tough call.

I think a deal on a room is better than a deal on food. I say this because I can trim my food bill easier than my room bill. I can split a meal, bring snacks and water into the park or choose a less expensive restaurant. The Disney DIning Plan offers so much food that my family generally can not eat it all.

I would do an annual pass and Tables in Wonderland. I could upgrade to a nicer room and be free to eat what I want. Plus your per day ticket price is reduced and ticket deals are difficult to get. Plus you have added benefits of discounts on shopping and other Disney extras.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
