We'll be in DW w/ picky 3 year old in May. Having trouble with dinner the day we're at AK. Breakfast w/ Donald that morning, but would appreciate dinner ideas-either at AK or a resort (no park hopper). Most things booked up-Yak&Yeti menu may be a mis

Hi Kristin! My son is a picky eater too, so I know what it's like dealing with a finicky child. Buffets are usually a good choice since there are lots of options to please everyone, but since you're eating at Donald's Safari Breakfast in the morning, I doubt you'd want to return to Tusker House for the evening buffet. More adventurous junior diners probably appreciate that the Yak & Yeti children's menu has some different options than most of the other kids' menus at Disney, but I agree with you that it may not appeal to the pickier children.

Have you considered the Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom? Your three-year-old would love the animatronic animals, and there is a large children's menu with all of the traditional kiddie favorites. While the food at the Rainforest Cafe doesn't always draw rave reviews, it's satisfying and similar to what you'd find at your local table-service chain restaurant.  If you want to venture to a restaurant outside Animal Kingdom, you could head over to Downtown Disney and try the Wolfgang Puck Cafe, if your three-year-old enjoys pizza, or the Earl of Sandwich, if you want a more casual option.  For dinner at one of the resort hotels, check out the online kids' menus for Kona Cafe and Whispering Canyon and see if they would appeal more to your little one.

Hope this helps, and hope you have a magical trip!
