We're going to DW in Nov of 09 and it'll 8 of us. 4 kids and 4 adults. We're staying at the ASM resort. Will all of the Grand Gathering benefits automatically apply or will we have to request those details for our group?

    Hi Jonathan and Veronica,

I love that you are already thinking about your vacation in November 09!

Yes you will have to let Walt Disney World know you have Grand Gathering status. This will gain you access to unique opportunities which only large parties can participate. It will also help keep your party together for your Advance Dining Reservations as well. In addition, you can purchase unique merchandise to remember your special trip.

If you are not going to be in a suite at the All Star Music, make sure to request connecting rooms at the time of your reservation. Then about 10 days prior to check, call Disney and ask for someone in the back office who will look at the actual room assignments for the resort to make your request again.

Have a magical time planning and check back for more answers to your questions!
