I'm so excited for you and your family to be planning your first Disney vacation, Robert! We enjoyed our recent stay at the Port Orleans Riverside. The grounds are beautiful, and we loved being able to take the boat to Downtown Disney. I'm a huge fan of character dining as it gives us one-on-one time with the characters! The buffets are great for kids who want more meal choices than the standard kid fare.
Here are some spots you might want to consider:
- Crystal Palace - Fabulous buffet at the Magic Kingdom with Winnie the Pooh and friends, including my best pal Tigger.
- Akershus Royal Banquet Hall - Visit Norway at Epcot and enjoy dining with the princesses.
- Garden Grill - Chip and Dale host dinner at Epcot's Land Pavillion
- Hollywood and Vine - Enjoy breakfast and lunch with Playhouse Disney pals at the Hollywood Studios.
- Tusker House in Africa at the Animal Kingdom offers Donald's Safari Breakfast.
- Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort offers buffet meals with Mickey and his pals.
- 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian offers super yummy food, princesses and characters.
- Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club offers a character breakfast with Goofy and his pals.
- Join Lilo and Stitch at 'Ohana at the Polynesian Resort.
