Me and DW canceled our original vacation plans in Nov to "Go Home" We went last year as DDP was changing and wondered, if we have to wait till later to add the Plan how does prepay reservations work? Can we get reimbursed when we finally add the p

Hi, Christopher! When you book your meal, tell the Cast Member that you will be using Disney Dining Plan entitlements, then your credit card is just a guarantee for them against loss. There will be no charge to your account unless you fail to show at your meal and didn't cancel with at least 48 hours notice.  However, if you don't tell the Cast Member when you make the reservation that you will be using Dining Plan entitlements, your credit card will be charged immediately for the full price of the meal. You will only be reimbursed after actually using the Dining Plan at the meal. Don't wait too long to add the Dining Plan.  It can only be added to your package up to three days prior to your package arrival date.  It cannot be added upon check-in.  Happy planning!
