DVC sounds like a great way to go. My husband has sent for the DVD. Can you please explain about DVC and does this include tickets and dining plan. Any info would be good. Thank you

    Hello Cynthia!

Our family became Disney Vacation Club Members in 2009, and we feel it has been one of the best decisions we have made for our family. From the amazingly themed resorts to exciting attractions, world class dining and fantastic customer service, we absolutely love vacationing at Walt Disney World. Knowing that we wanted to continue to enjoy Disney family vacations for many years is what lead us to exploring what Disney Vacation Club could offer us.

Disney Vacation Club is Disney’s own Vacation Ownership Program. Members purchase a real estate interest in a Disney Vacation Club Resort in the form of Vacation Points. You then use your yearly allotment of Vacation Points to book your resort accommodations. With Disney Vacation Club you can book stays at Disney Vacation Club resorts located at Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, Vero Beach on the Florida coast, Hilton Head Island, and Aulani, A Disney Resort and Spa in Hawaii. Expand your vacation horizons even further by exchanging your Vacation Points for Adventures by Disney vacations, Disney Cruise Line, and with RCI for stays around the country and the world!

Currently, Walt Disney World Annual Passes are available to Members with a discount, and Members may purchase the Disney Dining Plan if they wish. What we appreciate is the flexibility of the program and the spacious accommodations. In 1 and 2 bedroom villas we have a full kitchen and a washer and dryer, a huge bathroom with whirlpool tub and separate living area. Having the space to spread out and relax has really added to our vacation enjoyment.

I recommend you contact a Vacation Club Guide to learn more. If you will be visiting Walt Disney World soon, I recommend the Disney Vacation Club Open House for a tour of a model room and to sit down with a Guide to discuss what Membership can offer you and your family.
