Are the DVC rooms at poly Moana themed now or do they still have the plain walls and bird decorations?

    Welcome to planDisney, Marci!

As a fellow Disney Vacation Club Members, we had the opportunity to experience Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows just a few years ago. The delicious dining options, ideal location, and unique recreation made this dreamy, tropical Resort quickly sail to the top of our DVC favorites list. Let's dive in a take a look at theming for the Villas.

While all the standard hotel rooms at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort have been refurbished and feature Moana-themed rooms, the Villas on the DVC, or Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, side do not have Moana-themed rooms. Even though the DVC rooms do not feature the new theming with our favorite Wayfinder, the decor has been updated in recent years. So the DVC rooms should feature changes in artwork and soft goods. I have seen pictures of a particularly lovely tropical painting highlighting Stitch. If you are interested in using your DVC Vacation Points to reserve a Moana room, I suggest considering transferring your Vacation Points into Reservation Points so they could be used to book a standard hotel room at the Polynesian. Keep in mind these transactions are final. DVC Member Services can assist you with the transfer if you are interested.
