If we have DVC resort reservations for August 2020 but did not yet purchase tickets, will we have to wait until new tickets are offered to the general public? And does that also mean we can't access the new reservation system once it becomes available?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! There is so much new information being released as Walt Disney World prepares for the phased reopening of the theme parks and resorts. It is so exciting to see The Most Magical Place on Earth prepare for Guests to safely experience that Disney magic that we all love so much. With your next Disney vacation just around the river bend, I am sure you are trying to determine how these new changes will affect your stay.

New ticket sales have currently been paused to allow for Guests with existing park tickets and Annual Passholders to make park reservations using the new park reservation system. Guests without valid theme park admission will be able to purchase new tickets and make park reservations at a later date, subject to availability. Please continue to check the Operational Update Page for the most up to date information as it becomes available. I hope that you have a magical stay in Walt Disney World this August and that you are able to get the tickets and park reservations you desire when they become available! Please stop back by if we can help answer any more of your vacation questions.
