Welcome Home, Scott!
Disney’s Magic at Sea will be a new and exciting way for residents of the United Kingdom to embark on a Disney adventure from ports close to home. These 2, 3, or 4-Night staycations will not stop at ports of call, but will offer days at sea featuring the Disney storytelling, service, and entertainment Guests know and love. Ride the AquaDunk, see your favorite characters, savor amazing cuisine, or take in a movie while onboard!
I know many Guests and
Disney Vacation Club Members from the United Kingdom, including several of our planDisney Panelists, can’t wait to return to the Disney Theme Parks in the United States. (And we miss them too!) These staycation cruises are a great opportunity to experience the Disney magic while close to home. For Disney Vacation Club Members, this may be the perfect opportunity to use those
Vacation Points!Unfortunately, despite an exhaustive search, and even chatting with
Sue, a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member and planDisney Panelist from the United Kingdom, it does not appear that Disney Vacation Club has released Points Charts for these cruises. I am hopeful that since booking begins this week, that Points Charts will be made available within the next few days. Disney Vacation Club Members may begin booking by phone only, on 16th April 2021 beginning at 9 AM BST. Members wishing to use Vacation Points will need to call Member Services, while Members wishing to book with cash will need to call Disney Cruise Line. Both phone numbers can be found at the
bottom of this page. While I don’t know how many points these cruises will require for booking, I am thinking a starting point would be to consider similar length cruises to other locations. Here are the Points Charts for
3-Night and
4-Night Bahamian Cruises. I would keep an eye out for announcements this week and hopefully, more information will be released before the booking window opens.
I hope you can experience one of these amazing cruises, Scott! Wishing you
Membership Magic!- Kate
