Does DVC still offer trip insurance?

    Hi Concetta!

Trip insurance can be a good idea for some families. While I have not personally purchased it, our best friends, who are also Members, usually do. They have had to use it on one occasion due to a death in the family that necessitated a last minute change in travel plans. Many families also purchase it if they will be traveling during hurricane season, or when winter storms tend to delay travel.

If you would like to purchase trip insurance for your Disney Vacation Club stay, you can purchase by calling Member Services, or by using the DVC Member website. If you would like to purchase online, you would need to view your Travel Plan Details, then on the lower left where you see the Add to Your Trip options, choose the Purchase Travel Insurance option. This will take you to a page with more information on what is covered, and a link directly to the company that Disney Vacation Club contracts with to provide the coverage. You may purchase your trip insurance via that link.

I hope this information is helpful for your planning. Please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help you with!

    Wishing you Membership Magic!
