We are DVC members and are trying to decide whether or not the Tables in Wonderland card would benefit us.

Hi, Pam! Anything related to Walt Disney World and dining is my area of expertise, and I think I actually squeeeeed out loud when I found out I could purchase the Tables in Wonderland card as a Disney Vacation Club member

If you're anything like my family, we enjoy many of the table service dining experiences while we are on vacation. The Tables in Wonderland card gives you a 20% discount at participating restaurants on food and beverage purchases - including alcohol. There are currently more than 100 dining locations around the Walt Disney World resort and theme park areas that offer the discount, and you can also get free valet parking at resort hotels so that you can enjoy your meal.

Another perk is invitations to special dining events and special dining offers. All of this for only $150 for the whole year of benefits.

The break even point at the cost today is $750 in meals. My family of six can easily spend that in a week's vacation, and with our DVC membership, we often go two or three times a year. It is more than worth it for us in terms of discounts.

Some people factor in the 20% gratuity that is added onto your bill at the end of each meal, but it's what we would typically leave as a gratuity anyway. That makes this card a really huge perk for us.

I hope this answers all of your Tables in Wonderland questions. Have a great time on your upcoming magical visit.
