We are DVC members staying at BLT for a week. Have family coming to visit for an overnight stay. I know we don’t pay for parking but will she be able to park overnight and will she be charged for parking?

    Welcome Home Danny!

You are staying at one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort properties., and it’s all about location, location, location! Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is a quick walk to Magic Kingdom Park, and the Monorail runs right through the Resort - talk about convenient! It also boasts one of the most delicious Sunday brunches at California Grill, where the bottomless mimosas and sushi are on point!

In terms of parking for your family member, as long as the drivers of the car are on the reservation, parking at the Resort is complimentary. So feel free to let her know! I chatted with a Cast Member at Member Services who reminded me that this is for overnight self-parking. If you choose to use valet services, the valet fee applies. Members can also dine, shop and enjoy day activities at other Disney Resort hotels without a parking fee.

If you don’t feel like driving and like fire-dancing combined with delicious food, jump on the Monorail and head over to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, where Disney’s Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show is an enchanting luau with family-style dining. That sounds like a perfect night of entertainment for you and your extended family!

Danny, if you have any other questions, please come on back. Have a magical vacation!
