We are dvc members staying @ BLT and have relative coming to visit for the day. Will he be allowed through the MK main gates then contemporary guard house parking lot to BLT. What procedures would we need to follow to gain him access to BLT?

    Welcome Home Danny,

Yes! Your relative is welcome to join you and shouldn't have any issues parking conveniently at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

As he enters the Magic Kingdom Resort Area, instruct him to tell the attendant that he is heading to your Disney Vacation Club Resort. Then, at the guard house to the parking lot at Disney's Contemporary Resort, he will need to present identification and let the guard know that he is visiting you. He will be asked for your name, and then should be free to enter.

While we have never encountered any difficulty with this method, keep in mind that in the rare case that the parking lot is expected to reach capacity, it is possible that your Guest would need to find parking elsewhere to ensure that registered Guests have priority, of course.

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally
