Welcome Home, Richard!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. First, I want to congratulate you on picking one of the most fantastic
Disney Vacation Club properties! You will love the gorgeous theming of the Resort, but most importantly, you are going to enjoy the convenience. The Disney Skyliner is attached to the Resort, and because of it, you are a quick flight from both
a whole new world and the
Planet of Batuu! My kiddos' new favorite activity is to try and predict which characters we will get on our gondola!
Now on to baby girl! My babes were less than a yEAR the first time they visited Walt Disney World Resort, and it is so magical to view the 'World through
the eyes of littles. We've already talked about making things convenient, and honestly, that's my number one recommendation. Make sure you schedule plenty of time for naps and
down-time. The Parks are stimulating for adults, and you can imagine how much it is for your baby. Plan on spending most of your time at Magic Kingdom Park, as Fantasyland is MADE for
little ones!
One of our favorite Character experiences is right at your hotel!
Breakfast à la Art with Mickey & Friends is both delicious and so.much.fun! The Characters are in their Mediterranean finest, and
the storytime dining is delightful. Another delightful meal is at
Tusker House Restaurant in Disney's Animal Kingdom Park (which is our second most visited Park with little ones. The shade, the animals, and
the food make it one of our favorites). During a wonderfully delicious meal, my daughter met Donald Duck (in his safari finest) for the first time, and promptly decided that he was her favorite!
Richard, above all, take your time. She is going to love visiting no matter what, and it will be magical for you both, I promise! If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to come back.
ChEARs!
