    Do DVC members receive a discount at Disney stores at home or only at the stores at WDW or Disneyland?

    Hi Samuel!

    Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! You are correct, that currently Disney Vacation Club Members do receive a discount at Disney owned and operated retail locations at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort. Be sure to carry your Membership Card and Photo ID with you in order to receive your discount.

    Currently, this discount does not extend to local Disney Store locations. Benefits can and do change frequently though, and special limited time discounts have been offered to the Disney Store in the past. Keep an eye on all the perks and discounts available to Disney Vacation Club Members by viewing the Membership Magic tab at the top of the DVC Member Website. I also recommend following Disney Vacation Club on Facebook as new offerings and special events are often posted there.

    In addition to being a Disney Vacation Club Member, I am also a Disney Rewards Visa Cardholder. When paying with this card at The Disney Store, I do receive a discount on purchases over a minimum amount. If you frequent The Disney Store as I do, this may be something to consider. There is something a little extra magical about paying with Tinker Bell on my card, or in my husband’s case, Sorcerer Mickey! You can find a link to apply for the card on the DVC Member Website, and there is usually a special offer for Members who apply. This can also be found under the Membership Magic tab of the DVC Member Website.
