    Do DVC members get perks such as discounts on weddings/functions in banquets?

    Hi Angela!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Disney Vacation Club Members are eligible for many discounts on things such as theme park merchandise, Walt Disney World Annual Passes, dining tours and recreation. These benefits and perks are part of Disney Vacation Club’s Membership Magic program. To my knowledge there are not discounts currently offered for large functions such as banquets or for a Disney Fairytale Wedding. I do know that Disney Fairytale Weddings are usually a better value if booked for a weekday rather than a weekend. I would contact a planner at Disney’s Fairytale Weddings to inquire about any money saving ideas they would recommend if you will be planning a wedding.

    If you will be paying for such an event using a credit card, you might consider using the Disney Premier Visa Card from Chase. Items charged at Walt Disney World and Disneyland by Disney owned retailers earns you a 2% reward return in Disney Reward Dollars. They can be used to make additional purchases or even redeemed for airline tickets. My family uses this card regularly and not only do we love the benefits, it’s just fun to pay with my Tinker Bell themed card!
