We have been DVC members for five years, and are staying at Saratoga Springs for the first time. What are some must do activities, food, etc? Thanks!

    Welcome Home Kristin!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel again! You must be so excited about your upcoming trip. I do countdown clocks on my phone so that I can always see how close I am to the Magic!

Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is one of my family’s most frequented Resorts. We love the proximity to Disney Springs and the laid-back vibe. Some of our must-dos at the Resort are quite simple actually. We love the play park that is on the water across from Disney Springs. We always meet new “friends” there, and it’s a beautiful spot to watch the sunset. We also love to walk the paths at the Resort. When my babes were little, I spent hours quietly pushing a stroller along the walkways, admiring the grounds and praying that Pixie Dust descended on my twins to help them sleep!

My favorite spot at the Resort is The Spa at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort. I never miss the opportunity for a fantastic massage or facial, and my mini-me and I always go and getting matching Minnie manis. The boys love to rent bikes or play a pick-up basketball game at the courts.

To be perfectly honest, unless we cook a meal in our Villa, very rarely do we eat at the Resort. This is because of the plethora of options across the bridge at Disney Springs! We love to stop by the food trucks - the chips and guacamole at Springs’ Street Tacos are delicious! My kiddos love the chicken tenders and sauces at Chicken Guy!, and my husband says one of the best steaks he’s ever had is at Paddlefish. Top it all off with a stop by AristoCrêpes. The Strawberries and Cream Crêpe is a delightfully sweet “adult” end to the day!

Kristin, I noticed that you have another question onboard. I'll see if I can grab it and give you some more suggestions!
