Hi! We r DVC members and like to eat most of our meals in the villas. We do want to have 2 Character meals at next visit 4 our DD &DS. We like Chef Mickeys but would like to try something different next trip. We love all characters and delicious food!!

    Hi Natalia,

Like you, my family enjoys eating many of our meals in our villa.  It is relaxing, and makes the meals that we do eat out even more special.  Let me share with you some of my favorite character meals.

I really enjoy Donald's Dining Safari at Tusker House Restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom.  During this fun meal, you can meet Donald Duck and all of his friends in their safari gear.  My family has enjoyed this meal at breakfast, and I particularly like that there is both African fare and more traditional American offerings on the buffet.  This way, I can eat really interesting food, and children or more finicky eaters in the group can sample the African choices, but return to the more familiar offerings if they like.  This location is a character dining spot for breakfast and lunch.  I am not sure how old your children are, but if they are young and still enjoy the Disney Junior characters, Disney Junior Play 'n Dine at Hollywood & Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios is loads of fun.  Characters from shows such as Doc McStuffins and Sofia the First interact with young guests during this enjoyable dining experience.  Characters appear at breakfast and lunch.  Finally, if you would like a character dining experience outside of the theme parks, try Cape May Cafe at Disney's Beach Club Resort.  Here, Goofy and his friends adorned in beach attire join guests for breakfast.

Please do note that all character appearances are subject to change.  I hope that this give you some ideas for character meals with your family, Natalia!  Please do let us know if you have any further questions.
