Do DVC members get complimentary parking at the parks on the first day of their stay? We are staying at a DVC resort that night.

Welcome to planDisney, Mark, and thanks for bringing a parking question with you today! You'll be headed Home to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel faster than Dash from the Incredibles!

Disney Vacation Club Members receive many perks and benefits, let's check how parking fits in. Great news, since you are a DVC Member who is a registered Guest at a Disney Resort Hotel, you are entitled to complimentary Resort self-parking in addition to complimentary standard parking at the Theme Parks. You can upgrade your Theme Park parking to preferred parking for an additional fee; the preferred lots are closer to the Theme Park entrance which can shorten your exit at the end of a long park day.

Tip: Use the Car Locator feature in the My Disney Experience mobile app. This allows you to save your parked vehicle’s location which can save time when you exit the Park and head back to your Disney Resort Hotel.

Mark,  I hope this information has been helpful. Please visit planDisney again if you have any more questions about your Disney vacation!

    See ya real soon,
    Candace
