We’re DVC members and have 3 children, one of whom will only be 2 and a half when we travel. Do we have to include her in the max capacity? So we’d have to have a sleep 5 room, or as she’s under 3 is she not included and we can have sleep 4? Thanks!

Welcome Back to planDisney, Georgina, and Welcome Home!

Disney Vacation Club Membership is the perfect option for larger families. When our children were younger, we all comfortably fit in a Deluxe Studio, but as they grow and invite friends, we like to spread out in One or Two-Bedroom Villas. Let's take a look at the capacity for your family.

I confirmed with a Cast Member that everyone, regardless of age, needs to be listed on the reservation. However, that doesn't mean you would need to necessarily book a One or Two-Bedroom Villa. There are several Deluxe Studios that will accommodate five Guests. These include Disney's Beach Club Villas, Boulder Ridge Villas at Wilderness Lodge, Disney's BoardWalk Villas, Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and Disney's Riviera Resort. The Deluxe Studios at these Resorts are actually some of my children's favorites. They have to take turns deciding who gets the single pull-down bed with the surprise character artwork behind it! I hope this helps you plan a practically perfect vacation for you and your family!

Thank you for visiting planDisney. We are here for all your Disney Vacation Club questions!

    Enjoy making magical memories!
