Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Janice!
Welcome Home and welcome to planDisney! How wonderful that you have a Walt Disney World Resort vacation just around the riverbend. Few things are as exciting as knowing that in just a few short months, pixie dust awaits you. I am counting down the days to our June vacation myself and during the 100th year anniversary of the Walt Disney Company, this is a special year to visit indeed!
Janice, Walt Disney World Resort is such a special destination because it is designed to be an inclusive, accessible and welcoming environment for all Guests. Everyone should feel welcome and have the most magical experience possible. As such, there is a
Disability Access Service (DAS) for individuals who for a variety of reasons may need accommodations so that they can lessen wait times.
To access this option, Janice, you can
pre-register for this Pass beginning 30 days from (but prior to two days before) your arrival. You will then have a video chat with a Cast Member who will assist you with setting this up, discuss how it works, and share with you how to use it within the parks on your visit dates.
The one thing that is really nice about it is that you get to select return window times for select attractions. You begin with selecting two one-hour return window times prior to arriving at the park and then you can select additional return windows during your park day. But having the option to choose your return times will give you the flexibility for what works best for your family during your day. You may also find these
Frequently Asked Questions helpful.
I hope this helps you, Janice. If I can help with any further Disney Vacation Club or Disney vacation planning questions, stop back and
see me here because you've got a friend in me!
See ya real soon!
