I am DVC member trying to get park reservations for our group of 4. I am having trouble linking us all together to go to the same parks on same days. Msg "request sent" but I am making all plans for all.

    Welcome to planDisney, Anastasia!

It looks like you are just a few weeks away from hearing those magical words us Disney Vacation Club Members love to hear, “Welcome Home”. How exciting to be making your theme park reservations on the new Disney Park Pass reservation system and preparing for your upcoming visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth

It seems as though you are having trouble linking your Friends & Family in your My Disney Experience account, so let me try to help you with the process so that you can secure those park reservations for your party of four. Adding people to your Friends & Family list will allow you to make and share reservations with others. To get started you will need to go to your Friends & Family list and choose “Add a New Guest”. You will then have three options to add new friends. If you already have a Family & Friends list started, you can select from a list of people that your friends are connected to. If your friend has a Disney Resort reservation, you can quickly connect to everyone on the reservation. If you are creating a new Family & Friends list or want to add others who don’t have Disney accounts, simply enter their name and select “Invite this Guest to connect". At that point you can enter their email address and an invitation will be sent.

Since you are receiving a message stating “request sent” I am guessing that you have already invited the members to connect to your Family & Friends list. They should receive an email notification and be given the choice to accept or decline your invitation. When they accept, you will see a check mark next to their name in your Friends & Family list and be able to make the theme park reservations for your entire party on the Disney Park Pass reservation system. You may want to reach out to the members of your party to prompt them to accept your invitation.

I hope that this information helps you to get everyone in your travel party connected on My Disney Experience so that you can secure theme park reservations. If you are still having trouble connecting your travel party to your Friends & Family list, you can reach out to a Cast Member by calling (407) 939-4357 for further assistance.

Please stop back by planDisney if we can assist you with any more of your vacation planning or answer any more of your vacation questions. We are always here and happy to help!
