I am a DVC member but will be paying cash and staying at a value resort. Will I be able to purchase the DDP as a DVC member even though I am not purchasing a package (AP holders-do not need tickets)?

    Hi Christina!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Disney Vacation Club Members who are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort that was booked using Vacation Points have always been allowed to purchase the Disney Dining Plan without purchasing theme park tickets. In the past however, paying for a cash room would require a ticket purchase in order to book the Disney Dining Plan, and if you try to do this online, you will find this is still the case. However, recently Guests have been able to add the Disney Dining Plan without an additional theme park ticket purchase, if it is done over the phone or with a travel agent. This change has nothing to do with Disney Vacation Club specifically, but a general change for the public. To do this you would need to either contact the travel agent who booked your reservation, or call the Walt Disney World Travel Company directly.

    Wishing you Membership Magic!
