As a DVC Member do you have to pay for theme park parking if your Not staying at a Disney Resort?

Hey there, Paul! Thanks so much for your question.

Disney Vacation Club members do have some free parking benefits when it comes to parking overnight at a resort hotel, but when it comes to parking at the theme parks, there is no free parking for DVC members who are not vacationing at a Walt Disney World resort. In order to get the free parking benefit, you either have to have a MagicBand that links to a Disney resort reservation, or you'll need an annual pass.

I don't know if you know of the DVC discounted annual pass, but it's a great perk for DVC members. With a discount of about $100 over the price of a regularly priced annual pass, it's an impressive savings. You can break even in about 10 days, so any days you visit a theme park in a year is like getting in free. It also gives you the free parking, even if you are not staying at a Walt Disney World resort hotel.

Happy planning, Paul! I hope your vacation is absolutely magical.
