    I am a DVC member looking to purchase annual passes for my family. I also have a nanny living with us and going on the trip. Can I get her an annual pass using my DVC discount.

    The amazing discount on Walt Disney World Annual Passes is my favorite perk of our Disney Vacation Club Membership. Since we schedule at least two full trips during the year, purchasing Walt Disney World Annual Passes is a good value for our vacation budget.

    The discount is valid only for immediate family members of the Disney Vacation Club Member that reside at the same residence. This would include parents, siblings, children, stepchildren, grandparents and grandchildren that live in the Member’s home. Since your nanny, while hopefully as “practically perfect in every way” as Mary Poppins, is not an immediate family member, she would not be eligible for the discount.

    If you are looking to purchase a multi-day ticket for your nanny, the best place to receive a small discount is through Undercover Tourist. They are a Disney authorized ticket seller, and my parent’s have purchased from them several times. If you sign up for the monthly MouseSavers.com newsletter, they will send you a special link to Undercover Tourist for an even better discount. While any legitimate discount is usually small, in my book any way to save a little ticket money means more in the budget for Dole Whips and Mickey Bars!
