I am a DVC member. When I was in Hilton Head I was upgrades from a 2 BR Villa to a Grad Villa, and thes same happend in Lake Tahoe. Does this ever happen at WDW??

I am a DVC member as well. I have on VERY rare occasion heard of guests being upgraded from a studio to a one-bedroom or from a one-bedroom to a two-bedroom, but I have never encountered a guest being upgraded from a two-bedroom villa to a three-bedroom Grand Villa. Much of this has to do with the numbers. While there are plenty of DVC rooms at many WDW hotels, not all of the DVC resorts actually have Grand Villas and there are limited numbers of them at those that do, usually fewer than 20 of these rooms at each hotel. Also, since WDW is a popular family reunion site, those few Grand Villas are in great demand; it is rare for there to be vacancies.

So, while I would never say never where Disney magic is involved, I would certainly not count on getting a Grand Villa upgrade at WDW.
