Welcome Home Tami, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
It sounds like the entire gang is coming to stay on this trip - so.much.fun. Two summers ago, we traveled to Walt Disney World with 18 people combined, and that was a lot of planning and
a lot of magical. I think Walt Disney World is perfect for
large families, as there is legitimately something for everyone. The littles can
enjoy the fantasy of Magic Kingdom Park, while the teenagers thrill at
The Void: Step Beyond Reality, while the adults can indulge their foodie fantasies at
Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival!
In terms of parking, as long as the drivers of the cars are listed on the reservation,
parking at the Resort is complimentary for
Disney Vacation Club Members and their guests. So feel free to park away! A delightful Cast Member at
Member Services reminded me that this is for overnight self-parking. If you choose to use valet services, the valet fee applies. Members can also dine, shop, and enjoy daily activities at other Resort hotels without a parking fee.
Since you have extended family joining you on your trip, can I suggest a fun night out at
Splitsville Luxury Lanes? An evening of bowling and delicious food is a family tradition when we
stay so close to Disney Springs! It’s an upscale spin on a classic, and such fun to have a family-friendly competition. Bonus if you have littles with you - you get the bumpers, and Everyone Wins!
Tami, if you have any other questions, please drive on back. Have a magical vacation!
