Welcome back to planDisney, Dina, and Welcome Home!
One of my favorite features of our
Disney Vacation Club Membership is the flexibility of choosing how to use our
Vacation Points. In addition to
Disney Cruise Line, we can also use our Points to book
Adventures by Disney and even
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. Let's chat about using your Points to book the Disney Vacation Club Member Cruise.
I have heard so many amazing stories about taking a
DVC Member Cruise; it is at the top of my must-do list as a DVC Member. I recommend your first step is to take a look at the
Points Chart for the May 18th, 2024, Member Cruise in Europe. When you use your Vacation Points to reserve a Disney Experience, you must convert the Vacation Points to Reservation Points. Each Vacation Point is equal to one Reservation Point. So you can see on the chart the number of Reservation Points required. This number is per passenger and will vary based on Stateroom Category. Be sure to scroll to the bottom to see the Point amount for adding a 3rd or 4th guest and children. Once you are ready to book, simply call
DVC Member Services, and they will handle the conversion of Points and the actual reservation process. Great news, the one-time transaction fee for converting Points is waived for the Member Cruise! Keep in mind, though, that once transferred to Reservation Points, the Points cannot be changed back to use for booking DVC Resorts. I hope this helps you book the adventure of a lifetime!
Thank you for visiting planDisney. We are here for all your Disney Vacation Club questions!
Enjoy sailing into the Big Blue World!
