Welcome Home, Isabelina! I'm so glad you decided to stop by planDisney with your question--chatting about all things
Disney Vacation Club is one of my favorite pastimes. Let's dive right in to find the answer you're looking for!
This question feels very familiar, as I recently found myself in a similar situation. I booked a stay at
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa for my husband and me for our daughters' dance team championships at
Walt Disney World Resort--then my mother decided she would also like to join in on the fun! Unfortunately, I didn't have enough
Vacation Points remaining to accommodate a second booking, so we booked a
Deluxe Villa in the same category at Saratoga Springs using cash.
Isabelina, all of the DVC resorts have a certain number of Studios and Villas set aside for cash stays, so having your daughter and her husband near you should be no problem (pending availability, of course!). I recommend using an Authorized Disney Travel Planner for the cash booking, as they will be up to date on all of the latest deals and discounts and automatically apply them to the reservation if they apply.
To have your lodgings close to each other, you can add a request to both reservations. While nothing is guaranteed, the Cast Members at your resort will do their best to make some magic for you!
One last tip--be sure to take a peek at the
Member Benefits section of the DVC Member website before you head to The Most Magical Place on Earth. This page is kept updated with the most current Member discounts, and we usually find a new restaurant or store to try!
Hopefully, this information is just what you need so you can plan for a practically perfect vacation in January! Thanks so much for visiting planDisney, Isabelina, and please don't hesitate to
reach out directly if I can assist with any other questions.
Stay Magical!
Susan
