I am a DVC member and annual passholder who will be at WDW in Florida for a spontaneous trip September 9-12, but since I didn't realize I would be going, I have not signed up for the Ratouille preview. Is it too late to do so?

    Bonjour, Donna!

Welcome Home, and welcome to planDisney! Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure promises to be a whimsical and zany adventure where you will shrink to the size of a rat as you dash and scurry through Gusteau’s famous restaurant in Paris! The attraction is based on the Disney Pixar feature film Ratatouille, and is sure to be fun for Guests of all ages. I have not been lucky enough to experience the attraction yet, but I’ve heard excellent reviews from friends who got a “squeak peek” yesterday!

The Disney Vacation Club Preview was by invitation email only for Members with existing reservations. To the best of my knowledge, booking for this special Member exclusive preview has now closed. Even if there was still availability, the Member preview dates are September 5th, 17th, and 20th, and sadly, none of those dates overlap your trip dates. As a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder myself, I also looked at these dates, and while Passholder Previews are occurring during your trip, when I checked the registration link, it tells me that the event is now fully booked for all dates.

I am a firm believer that there is no harm in asking politely, as long as you are prepared to accept a “no” answer. You can always inquire at the concierge desk at check-in if any additional previews or reservations have been added for Disney Vacation Club Members or Annual Passholders. Sometimes magic does happen! But if not, you know you’ll have something exciting to look forward to on your next Walt Disney World vacation!

    Wishing you Membership Magic!
