There are so many great things about being part of
Disney Vacation Club, and over the years the program keeps growing in new and exciting ways. About ten years ago, the first
Member Lounge opened in
EPCOT, and it's one of our family's favorite perks! It's a great place to take a break during a busy day and cool off. There are complimentary beverages and snacks, comfy seating, and plenty of charging ports if you're anything like me and tend to forget your portable charger (oops!).
The EPCOT lounge is located in the Imagination! Pavilion, on the second floor of the
ImageWorks shop. It's typically open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You'll see a podium located across from the registers with DVC Cast Members standing by to check Guests in for the lounge. You can bring in up to 4 Guests per Membership, or the number of Guests on your resort reservation. There can be a wait at times, but in my experience we've always been able to access the lounge eventually.
Andrea, we added the
Membership Magic Beyond (MMB) option to our DVC Membership last year, and I highly recommend it! There are a number of excellent benefits, including priority access to all of the Member Lounges. We happened to be in EPCOT when a rainstorm passed through, and lots of people had the same great idea to head to the lounge. Because we had MMB, we were able to get in with a minimal wait. Members with this add-on can also come back to the lounge in the evenings for a special Character experience! We stopped in one night and were the only people there - my too-cool-for-school teens had so much fun interacting with the Characters, and the pictures were my favorites from our entire vacation.
