DVC family of 5 arriving end of March-staying @ Villas- 12 & 10 yr old boys and 7 yr old princess- Mom & Dad prefer signature dining- what park/dining schedule do u reccommend to suit everyones vast tastes? and age groups?w/least amount of crowds.

    Hi DR,

My family, with two princesses, never had a problem making it all work while we vacation at the Walt Disney World Resorts. First, if your children know about the trip, then get them in on the planning as this is what we do. We let everyone pick three attractions at each park and then at least one table service restaurant for dinner. Sometimes it is the girls that pick the signature options as I love Whispering Canyon Cafe which is signature in its own way.

I think all four parks are great for your group. I always encourage families to visit Magic Kingdom on the third day because it is so magical and different.

I would go to EPCOT then Disney's Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom then Animal Kingdom. Depending on how many days you are touring add at least another day at EPCOT and Magic Kingdom. If you have a Park Hopper then use the other half of your day at Animal Kingdom to go to another park.

We always do a table service meals at dinner. For your day at Magic Kingdom, I would visit the resorts for restaurants like the Wave, California Grill or Citricos or Whispering Canyon Cafe:) I also just tried the Yachtsman Steak House and it was delicious! Some other family favorites are Teppan Edo, Kouzzina by Cat Cora, 50's Prime Time Cafe, Cape May Cafe.

I do recommend you making Advance Dining Reservations (ADRs) online or by calling 407-WDW-DINE as you want to be able to enjoy eating at some of these restaurants.

    Have a magical vacation!
