My DVC annual pass expires in October. If I renew does that automatically start the countdown on a year? Or can I skip a year and then activate a year from that date? Please and thank you!:) °○°

    Welcome to planDisney Dana!

When it comes to all the benefits of being a Disney Vacation Club Member, there is a great big, beautiful tomorrow of possibilities. The DVC Member perk my family definitely uses the most is our Disney Sorcerer Annual Pass. We actually just renewed ours as well! So let's hop on this Carousel of Progress and take a look at Annual Pass renewals.

I confirmed with a Cast Member that the Disney Sorcerer Pass renewals would begin directly after the expiration of your current pass not at time of first use. So if your Annual Pass expires in October and you renew it, then your new Annual Pass would also activate in October. I did find out during my renewal that an extra verification step was taken over the phone so I don't have to activate my renewal in person like in years past. Just be sure to check with DVC Member Services when you renew your Annual Pass. Don't forget, you can renew your pass up to 60 days before or 30 days after expiration.

Thank you for visiting planDisney. We are here for all your Disney Vacation Club questions!

    Enjoy making magical memories!
