    I have DVC & annual pass - if I charge snacks / meals to the room can our DVC or annual pass discount be automatic to the room charge?

    Hi there, Ann Marie!

    There are definitely good reasons to be a Disney Vacation Club member aside from the awesome selection of resorts. The Member Benefits often bring welcome savings on other parts of your Walt Disney World vacation.

    In order to get a discount on food or merchandise, you will need to show your DVC membership card and a photo identification card. Now, you don't have to carry your membership card with you, as you can access a digital membership card through your dashboard on the DVC member website, but you will need a photo identification card to use with it. 

    You can still use your MagicBand to pay for your purchases. The discounts are applied at the time of purchase, so they will be reflected on your room charge with the discount already applied.
