Hi Kelli, welcome to planDisney! Your trip to the Disneyland Resort is just around the corner. Can you already smell the churros and hear the Dapper Dans singing in perfect harmony? I'm happy to help you prepare for this magical trip!
The
Hours & Events Calendar is generally updated on a rolling basis to show park information up to six weeks out. That means it's just a little early to know all the details for June 18 and 19. You should check the calendar in about a week, Kelli. At that point, you can click on those dates to see park hours, showtimes, special events, and which attractions will be closed for refurbishment.
As you mentioned, there is a
Disneyland After Dark event on June 18. Typically, for these events, Disneyland closes at 8 p.m. If you have a
Park Hopper ticket, you can move over to California Adventure. Otherwise, you can explore the Downtown Disney District. The June 18 event is
Pride Nite, a joyous celebration with dance parties, a special fireworks show, Character experiences, themed food, photo opportunities, and more! At the time of writing this, tickets are still available. If you're interested, I suggest purchasing tickets soon because tickets are limited and may sell out. The event you mentioned, 90s Nite, was back in March.
There is so much to look forward to for this trip, Kelli. The
Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration is kicking off soon, and you can expect to see colorful decorations, exciting entertainment, exclusive merchandise, and more. The Disney Parks Blog
just released a Foodie Guide that is full of celebration-themed food and drinks. Yum! I'm most excited for the return of the
Paint the Night parade. Imagine more than a million colorful LED lights painting the streets of Disneyland in a colorful glow as dazzling floats and Disney Characters make their way along the parade route. The Wondrous Journeys show is amazing, too – don't miss it!
And Kelli, it looks like you may have been trying to reach my pal Dustin. You can
visit his page on the planDisney website to ask him a question directly if you'd like! He is a Disney Cruise Line specialist and can tell you all about the amazing itineraries and experiences you can expect on a Disney cruise. There is a
port in sunny San Diego, and you can board the Disney Wonder from there – my family did it recently, and we had the best time!
Kelly, I hope you have a fantastic time at the Disneyland Resort, with great food, special memories, and lots of smiles. If you have any questions before your trip, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney!
Wishing you magic,
Kriss
