Hi, during the week of week of April 17-22 we plan to a day at each park at Disney World with some rest days in between. Is it best to buy a 4 days ticket? Will it extend to the timeframe we are there?

    Hi Lane! Welcome to planDisney!

Your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort is coming up so quickly! With 40 square miles, four Theme Parks, two Water Parks, 25 Disney Resort Collection hotels, and the shopping, dining, and entertainment you can find at Disney Springs, there's always a new Resort to stay in and a new corner of the property to discover, so you're certainly in for a treat!

Whenever I'm at The Most Magical Place on Earth I can't help but wish I always had more time to explore my Resort as well as other Resorts around the property. I think you have a great idea when you mention taking some rest days and enjoying your downtime.  The incredible theming and Resort pools make it easy to fill an entire day with relaxation and exploration!

Lane, you'll notice when you go to purchase your Theme Park Tickets online that you'll choose your starting date (the first day of ticket use) on a digital calendar. After choosing the number of Park days, and whether you want to spend the day at just one Park per day, or prefer the Park Hopper Option (allowing you to visit as many Parks a day as you would like each day of your ticket), click the calendar to see it populate the valid days of your ticket.  You'll find that a 4-day ticket is valid for 7 days and your tickets do not have to be used on consecutive days!

This sounds pretty conducive to the magical Resort vacation you're hoping to have! Before purchasing your Theme Park Tickets, however, make sure to check out the Park Pass Reservations page.  Now, Guests of Walt Disney World Resort need both a valid Theme Park Ticket and a Park Pass Reservation to enter their first Park of the day.  I noticed when I was scrolling for your tickets that one day during your vacation already has limited availability, so purchase those tickets and book as soon as possible! Spring Break is a busy time at the Resort and I would hate to see you miss out on anything you want to do!

Lastly, on your day at EPCOT, make sure to stay until the end of the night and watch the new fireworks show, Harmonious! It is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking, and walking World Showcase after the Park begins to clear out is my very favorite way to end a practically perfect day at the Parks!
