During our week in WDW, our whole family is going to Magic Kingdom & Hollywood Studios. One day will just be mommy and 4 year old daughter. Which park would you choose, AK or Epcot? It's her first time in WDW so it is all new to her.

Hi, Allison!  If it were up to my four year old, she would go to Animal Kingdom.  She loves to see the animals, and she really enjoys the train to Rafiki's Planet Watch, where they have a petting zoo.  We never miss the Festival of the Lion King, and have recently added the Nemo show to her list of must do things at Animal Kingdom.  She is just recently tall enough for Kali River Rapids, so for her, that's just another bonus to the whole park!  She enjoys it all the more now!

Another thing that she really loved was the picnic lunch you can purchase at Animal Kingdom.  The Picnic in the Park lunch comes with your choice of sandwiches, or you can opt for rotisserie chicken or ham.  You get side dishes, water, desserts, and a neat bag she can have a souvenir as her day with Mommy!

I like EPCOT, and I have another daughter who at age four would have chosen EPCOT.  If your daughter prefers things like the Living Seas with Nemo and Friends, and is tall enough to ride Test Track and Soarin', this might be a better option for your little one.  We recently did some things in Innoventions, including the Great Piggy Bank Adventure, and even my four year old got into that.  Lunch here could be either a totally Princess lunch at Restaurant Akershus in Norway, or you could do the Garden Grill in the Land pavillion, where you'll see Farmer Mickey and friends.

Gauge which activities you think your daughter would most enjoy.  You can't go wrong with either park, but I know my little one would go with animals every time.
