    During the week we will be visiting a couple of events we would like to see seem to occur after park closing time. Specifically Fantasmic at 9Pm when park closes at 8:30 and Rivers of Light at Animal Kingdom at 9:15 pm when park closes at 9. Is this right

    Walt Disney World after dark is so much fun! I love the cooler weather and seeing the parks in lights!

    As long as you are in the parks by the closing time, you are fine to see these shows. While I do not know the official reason why they start the shows after closing, my guess is it helps with the crowds. Both of these parks are compact and this allows guests who do not want to see the evening shows to leave and head home. It saves the transportation later in the evening only for those guests still remaining. It also helps them manage transportation more efficiently for a better guest experience.

    So enjoy Fantasmic! and Rivers of Light during your vacation!
