During the week of Independence day...I've heard it can be extremely busy! Any tips on parks to avoid and which resorts can you still see Epcot's or magic kingdoms fire works on July 4th?? Thanks!!!

Hello there, Mandy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for stopping by and allowing us to help you plan your July 4th visit!

I don't know about you but I am a massive fireworks fan! In my personal opinion, no one does fireworks quite as well as Walt Disney World Resort. This makes them the perfect destination for celebrating July 4th with a bang!

Like any other holiday, July 4th can be a popular time to visit Walt Disney World Resort. However, it is more than possible to have an absolutely magical time regardless of crowds! My favorite tip for avoiding headaches during the hotter months has got to be splitting up your park visit. Generally, my family and I arrive to the theme parks as soon as they open, stay for a few hours, and then go back to our Disney Resort hotel for a bit of rest. After relaxing for a few hours, we make our way back to the parks in order to enjoy some more attractions. This allows us to rest and visit the parks during the cooler times of the day!

Also, be sure to find your viewing spot early if you would like to view Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky at Magic Kingdom or the very special, patriotic version of Illuminations: Reflections of Earth at Epcot. Both of these shows are incredibly popular so viewing areas can fill up rather quickly!

If you would like to view Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky from a Disney Resort hotel, I would recommend considering Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Disney's Contemporary Resort, and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. All three of these locations would provide excellent viewing opportunities for the full 360-fireworks experience!

Have a great time during your summer vacation!
