During our visit this year we would like to explore other hotels. I hear Ft. Wilderness has many things to do like horseback riding. Can I take part in things like that if I am not an actual guest at that hotel but a guest at another on site property?

Absolutely. I've done the horseback riding, horse drawn carriage ride, and movie night at Fort Wilderness, but have never stayed at that resort. Some of the other activities that any guest can participate in are:

    - Boat rentals at any resort with a marina
    - Bike rentals
    - Strolling along the Boardwalk
    - Fishing excursions
    - Spas experiences
    - The WDW Childcare Centers
    - Tennis and golf
    - Arcades

You can click HERE for links to more information about these and other recreation opportunities at Disney World.

Additionally, you are welcome to go to any of the Disney Resorts just to look around and enjoying the incredible architecture and themeing elements. This is a particularly popular activity during the holiday season. Many people spend several days just going to the different resorts to see the unique and creative decorations.

    Have a great trip!
