During the Stars Wars Half are the water breaks full bottles of water or the small cups? Also, how much time should be allowed for runner drop off at MK to be at the start by 4am? We are only a few miles off property near Animal Kingdom.

    Hi Robin!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so excited for you since your runcation is just around the corner!

During the Star Wars Half Marathon-The Dark Side, you'll encounter nine different water stops along the course. In my past experience, the first set of tables is Powerade and the second set up for tables is Dasani water. It is not water bottles, but rather Dasani that has been poured into 8 oz cups, but you can absolutely grab multiple if you'd like! There is certainly no limitation on re-hydrating during the race. You will also encounter a nutrition stop around mile 8 where an energy gel will be distributed.

For runner drop off for guests not staying on property, you will actually be dropped off at Epcot and take a bus over to the Magic Kingdom. No drop off will be allowed at the Magic Kingdom. The runDisney team advises that every runner should board a bus no later than 4 AM to be in their corral by 5 AM, including a 15 minute walk from Start Staging area to the corrals themselves. This is from any resort on property so I'd use this as an a timeline! The driving directions can be found on page 9 of the Digital Event Guide.

Please let me know if you have any other questions and 'May the Force be with you' on the course!
