During Star Wars Weekends, do you know if the kid selection for Jedi Training is by waiting in line or randomly selected? I hope by line ... we did it several years ago (not Star Wars weekend) for my older son, and now my 5 year old can't wait to do it!

Hi Sandy!  My family loves Star Wars Weekends!  I highly recommend it for any Star Wars fan!  I am happy to tell you that children that are interested in participating in the Star Wars: Jedi Training Academy must sign-up for this experience, they are not randomly selected.  On normal park days at Disney's Hollywood Studios, as well as, on Star Wars Weekends in the past,  guests could sign up at the Sounds Dangerous with Drew Carey attraction. This may also be the location this year as well, but I would suggest picking up a special Star Wars Weekend map when entering the park for up to date information for this Special Event. I would also recommend signing up your young Padawan right at park opening as times will go very quickly, especially during Star Wars Weekends. I hope your five-year-old gets to learn to use the Force at Star Wars: Jedi Training Academy just as your older son did several years ago!  I hope this information helps!  Please let me know if I can answer any other questions regarding Star Wars Weekends or your Walt Disney World Vacation!  Best wishes for a Magical Trip, Sandy!
