During planning of our 2007 trip I read that Disney resort guests are allowed to use the resorts facilities other than the one you are staying in as long as it's in your category (moderate-deluxe). Is this still true? We will be traveling in 7/09

    Katherine,

    The short answer is no.

This is largely due to the pool situation at the Yacht and Beach Club. Their resort pool was so popular that it was getting hard for resort guests to find a space at their own pool because of all the visitors from other resorts.

So while the answer is basically no, there are certain features that you can use at other resorts. If you want to visit the spa, a restaurant, stores, or better yet use the Child Activity Center, the by all means go. Marinas are also okay.

I hope that this answers your question. If it does not, let me know the specific resort facility you were talking about, and I can research it for you.

    Have a magical vacation!
