During the parades at MVMCP can we still meet characters or does this stop until the parades are over?

    Welcome back, Kristie!

Thank you for bringing your vacation planning questions to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

One of my favorite tips for guests visiting the Magic Kingdom during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is that if you aren't interested in watching the parade to definitely take advantage of the attractions and meet and greets during that time. Even though the wait times are typically low during parties, they are even lower during shows, parades and fireworks.

Don't forget get a special party park map when you enter the Magic Kingdom. This will show you all the locations of the cookie & cocoa locations, parade routes and character meet and greets.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any other questions about Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party or any other aspect of your Walt Disney World vacation please come back and see me.

Wishing you a *MAGICAL* vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
