During mickeys not so scary halloween party do the characters sign autographs or do they just do pictures?

Boo to you, Lindsay, and welcome to planDisney! Let's peer through the spiderwebs to find an answer to this creepy question about Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. I attended this eerie event last year at Walt Disney World Resort and am happy to share my experience. I'm dying to help you, so let's get started!

As you probably know, characters and experiences are always subject to change at these special events. I like to think of it as a pixie dust surprise! Some of the more sinister creatures I saw last year were Captain Hook, Cruella DeVille, and Maleficent. But you never know who might jump out of the shadows at Magic Kingdom Park! I've heard a whisper that you might even meet Encanto's elusive Bruno at Fairytale Garden...but we're not supposed to talk about him.

And while most characters are happy to sign autographs, a few will provide pre-signed cards instead. Jack Skellington and Sally handed out autograph cards last year, and a friend told me that the Seven Dwarfs usually don't sign autographs either. Time is probably a concern, but the good news is that snapping photos is quick and easy. And since most characters love the spotlight (especially those villains!), I feel sure you can capture the moment with a camera. Please check with the Cast Member handlers at each character greeting spot for specific details about what that character can share.

Lindsay, keep your disembodied eyeballs peeled for party-exclusive character sightings, too. For example, you might spy Madame Leota near the Haunted Mansion, but you probably won't be able to meet her or get an autograph; I've heard she tends to hang with her dearly departed friends in the boneyard!

And what's a party without snacks? Check out the Foodie Guide for 2024 on the Disney Parks Blog. I can't wait to try the Oogie Boogie Cupcake. It reminds me of a dessert my mom used to make...gummy worms and all!

Lindsay, I'm crossing my cold, bony fingers so you'll have a chilling time at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Please stop by planDisney anytime. You've got a "fiend" in me!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
