Hi! During our last Aulani stay we enjoyed the delicious "home-cooked" family style meals from room service in our villa. Out of curiosity, do any resorts at Walt Disney World offer the same kind of in-room family style dining option? TIA! : )

    Welcome Hilary,

The family style meals offered at Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas, Ko Olina, Hawaii, certainly look incredible. I can see why you would hope to find another option like this on all future vacations. In fact, I have discovered that I now compare all travel to the family-friendly luxury we experience thanks to Disney Vacation Club!

I'm sorry to share with you that there is not currently an option at Walt Disney World Resort hotel for this type of experience. That said, while it's not necessarily a "family style meal," you can request in-room dining at most Deluxe and Disney Vacation Club Resorts by pressing "Dining Options" on your in-room phone.

There are also several delicious restaurants around the property that do serve family style meals. Our favorite is definitely Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney's Wilderness Lodge! This informal location serves down-home cookin' complete with all the "fixins." You must try it! Oh, and don't hesitate to ask for more ketchup if you need it.

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally
