During the After Hours events, I know you can enter the park early at 7 p.m., but can you ride rides at that time? Or do you have wait until 10 p.m.? Are there still fireworks shows on those nights!?

    Hi there, Candace!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to be planning an upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!

Disney After Hours is a such a great way to experience the parks at night with a limited number of Guests. My family attended Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park in late May and thoroughly enjoyed the entire event. After entering the park, you can definitely go ahead and ride attractions. During our visit, we entered the park at 7:00 p.m. and used that time between 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. to grab a quick dinner, experience three attractions and watch Happily Ever After, a beautiful fireworks spectacular. Although entertainment options are subject to change, Happily Ever After is historically offered on the same night as the Disney After Hours event at Magic Kingdom Park and Rivers of Light: We Are One is available on the same night as Disney After Hours at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

When my family attended Disney After Hours, we rode 14 attractions with little to no wait and consumed complimentary popcorn, ice cream bars and bottled drinks throughout the entire event. It was such a fun night!

I hope this information has been helpful to you, Candace. Please visit us again with any new questions as you continue to plan a magical trip!
